Boxgirls International gives girls and young women living in distressed urban areas conflict resolution and self protection skills to be confident and effective leaders in their communities. Boxgirls uses running and amateur boxing activities to help the girls strengthen their bodies and learn to work effectively to solve problems in multicultural groups. The girls' passion for sport is used to teach deescalation techniques, negotiation, presentation and intercultural communication skills.
