The Samaritan Association of Latvia (LSA) was founded in September 1992 and today is one of the largest non-governmental organizations in Latvia. LSA have a team of professionals for different kind of projects in new ways of care approach implementations, healthcare and charity, as well as the resources and experience in administration of social services. LSA organizes and implements many social projects which are important for various groups in society in order to improve their situation, quality of life and reduce discrimination, promote intergenerational cooperation and the involvement of young people in social work. LSA strives to implement projects that have a long-term operation and significance, not just for the duration of the project.
