Corona virus has made things extremenly difficult for the entire world, Sierra Leone is no exception. Children all over the world are suffering mentally, but those in under priviledge communities are suffering with an increase in starvation and child abuse. Due to schools closures, some children are suffering, however many students taking exams for Beca and wassce are attending schools to prepare for thier exams. we want to do more to distribute waterproof backpacks to students in different areas in Sierra Leone.

Waterproof backpacks distributed to Ebola orphans in Sierra Leone

The waterproof backpacks are vital for children attending school in Sierra leone. The bags will ensure children's books stay dry and net during the heavy rains. Be Rose Foundation distributed these waterproof bags to the poorest children in underprivileged neighborhoods. Ebola orphans in Bo, Southern part of Sierra Leone were happy to receive these waterproof backpacks distributed by the founder of Be Rose International foundation and her tea. The goal is to provide every child with a waterproof bag to the neediest students at the school, this will ensure that their books are secured from getting wet and also keep school supplies neat, dry and clean.

Distribution of Backpacks to flood victims

During the raining season in Sierra Leone, it rains fror six months in straight leaving students books wet and destroyed. Children are not prepared for the rains and they usually get wet under the rain. Many are never prepared for the weather and so many people do not have the means of access to a television or radio.
Be Rose donated Waterproof backbacks to children affected by the floods in Sierra Leone. Soo many items were lost but the foundation was able to donate the waterproof backpacks because of donors like you. It is our aim to continue to progvide these waterprrof back packs to 2500 students across Sierra Leone and Nigeri to ensure batter care of their books an school supplies.
