Mission

Founded in 1976, Lutheran Family Services in the Carolinas serves the most vulnerable in North and South Carolina. In 2011, Lutheran Family Services in the Carolinas entered into an affiliation with Lutheran Services for the Aging. This affiliation, branded in the community as Lutheran Services Carolinas (LSC), has created an organization with a broad reach in terms of both services provided and geography served, has streamlined overhead expenses, and has assembled a committed, highly skilled staff dedicated to serving people, from infants to the elderly, across North and South Carolina.
