IMC Weekend School, offers supplementary education for children aged 10 to 14 in underprivileged neighborhoods in the Netherlands. In a three-year course, volunteer experts introduce students to a wide range of topics, among them medicine, law, computer studies, philosophy, astrology, and the arts. The goals of the program are to provide students with the skills, knowledge and audacity that are needed to find a place in society that matches their capacities. The newest branch of IMC Weekendschool is IMC on Tour. In this branche we provide a simulair program for children who are new in the Netherlands (which include refugee children with a dutch residence permit) We have 8 different locations in the Netherlands with each 25 to 30 pupils all through the year. Additionally we offer them a special Summer school of two weeks during the Summerholliday. In these two weeks we provide lots of sports, nature and cultural activities.
