Women's Collective organizes marginalized women, adolescents and children at the village level and form them into groups or what we term as sangams / clubs/ panchayaths. These members are given awareness about societal issues and their capacity is built. Elected representatives from the groups are formed into a regional level federation called Vattara / unit federation. Representatives from Vattara unit are formed into a district level federation. The representatives from the district level federation form the State level federation. The unorganized workers are unionized and they are part of the Government workers board which extends scholarship to the workers children, health insurance, accidental benefir and death benefits. The women are organized to form Self Help Groups which facilitates savings and credit to the members to take up small business. The women farmers are organized to form women farmers group at village level to take up issues of natural farming. Women agricultural laborers are also organized into farmers group. They are organized as collective farming group to lease out land and to cultivate food crops to ensure nutritious food security at the household level. Each household is trained and facilitated to start kitchen gardening near their household and to cultivate at least 7 to 8 vegetables in their backyard, using kitchen waste water. The household having terraced houses are facilitated to start roof gardening to ensure food security at the household level. The children from the villages are organized into Children's panchayath and are given awareness about the societal issues. they are facilitated to be democratized leaders in future. They actively participate in Grama Sabha meetings express their demand and grievances to the elected local representatives. They plant trees during their birthdays. They save and support poor children from their own village for the purchase of books and note books. The Elders are organized and formed into elders association. They are made aware of their rights and they come together to share their problems. This serve as a group counseling process for them. Together they are able to get Government pension and other Government facilities.
