Working with local grassroots charities and NGOs in 13 countries across the globe, the Global Vision International (GVI) Charitable Trust manages and raises funds for numerous long-term programs. These funds are used to support our local partners with the aims of alleviating poverty, illiteracy, environmental degradation and climate change. Supporting Community Development in Phang Nga
 
We work with 5 different organisations, offering them support with volunteer time, but the need for financial assistance is great. With little or no governmental or community funding, our partners seek outside sources for funding. Their needs vary as do the priorities for each need. Emergency Relief for Fiji After Cyclone Winston
 
On 20 February a category 5 cyclone tore through the island nation of Fiji. Cyclone Winston has cut a path of destruction to the largely rural nation. Homes have been destroyed, rivers have flooded, power lines have snapped, trees have been uprooted and access to safe drinking water has been compromised. Help Build Homes and Eco-Toilets in Santhom Slum
 
Santhom slum in Kerala, India, has approximately 116 homes, This project will have a long term impact on the entire community, and an indirect impact on the surrounding community of Cochin. Vaccinate and Sterilise Stray Dogs in Thailand
 
To provide vaccinations and sterilizations for approximately 60 dogs of Huay Pakoot, a small rural Karen hill tribe village in northern Thailand. Currently animals in the village have no access to basic medical care. Nearly all the dogs have fleas and ticks and many have worms and other illnesses and injuries including malnutrition. Vaccinations will help improve the lives of the dogs in the village and sterilizations will help control the population of stray dogs. project reportread updates from the field
Establishing a Recycling Centre in Mexico
