Sambhali Trusts' primary objective is to promote self-esteem, economic independence, and the development of educational, vocational and social skills for disadvantaged women and girls within Rajasthani society. Programs

We achieve our mission by providing Empowerment Centres for women and children and offering vocational training in sewing and embroidery skills as well as tuition in Hindi, English and Maths. We hope by teaching these skills it will help to enable them to achieve economic independence in the future. We provide income-generating activities and access to employment through the provision of 2 Sewing Centres and a Boutique to sell their hand-made items. We support the need to develop women's awareness in medical health and hygiene issues, nutrition and diet through the provision of medical health camps and providing educational workshops. We understand the need for a good education and provide individual scholarships for children to attend school and for children from rural areas improving their educational standard to further their development. We seek to educate children, parents and teachers in the local community to raise awareness about child sexual abuse and provide a telephone HelpLine. We also provide refuge, counselling and support in cases of domestic violence; financial help to support women in need of legal aid and in cases of urgent medical care.
