Mission

The Llama Pack Project is a social and conservation project that works to protect our fragile mountain ecosystems and generate sustainable development in high-Andean communities of the Urubamba Mountain Range (Cusco, Peru) by promoting the ancestral use and breeding of llamas as pack animals for the tourism industry. Llamas are a native and eco-friendly animal completely adapted to mountain ecosystems and pack labor.
