BCA Ottawa is a grass roots organization, run by a volunteer Board of Directors, with 2 staff people. Our goal is to be the 911 to those, regardless of gendre, who have been diagnosed with breast cancer. We offer peer support, gifted post surgical camisoles; and a Health and Wellness Program that focusses on those facing pre and post surgical challenges. We receive no government funding and rely on fundraising events and donations to make ends meet. This continues to be an ongoing struggle, but we have survived for 25 years now and march on, successfully supporting our membership and those diagnosed with this disease.
