The transparency of FME's decision-making process has strengthened the foundation. The system set up by the foundation is based on a synergy between the Association itself, the Board of Directors, and the Executive Board. FME stands by certain values to allow any sponsor or donor trust that they always have the best interest of the student in mind. The values they follow are: Equity - gaining trust through merit, equal opportunities and positive discrimination Engagement - engaging with framework and sustainability Heart - through faith and charity, FME cares for students and sponsors Professionalism - working with rigor, transparency, and structure Proximity - Making sure they remain close to the beneficiary through listening to them, mentors and field support FME's mission is to help as many people as possible reach upward social mobility, it needs to diversify its funding strategy to grow and achieve risk reduction. The strategy is a three-legged approach to funding: Corporate Funding - Partnering with corporate sponsors to donate funds to FME where 90% goes to the student and only 10% is for administrative functions. Individual Funding - By securing individual funds, it allows FME to diversify and reduce its risk. FME is launching a program to achieve 1000 donors for only 200 MAD per month. Project Based Funding - Collecting project based funds will allow FME to increase its capacity for administrative needs and program offerings. This will allow FME to not only help hundreds of students reach upward social mobility, but it will also enable FME to offer and create more programs and skills training that can make an impact to each beneficiary.
Each of GlobalGiving’s nonprofit partners is required to send quarterly donor reports detailing the impact of their work.
