Mission

Stronger rights to land have the power to reduce poverty and conflict, increase economic activity, empower women, strengthen food security, and improve environmental stewardship - for a family, a community, and an entire country. Landesa champions and works to secure land rights for millions of the world's poorest, mostly rural men and women who depend on land for their livelihoods. We walk alongside governments, communities, and other key stakeholders to advance pro-poor, gender-sensitive land rights reforms in order to provide opportunity and promote social justice.
