We are a non-profit organization based out of Portland, started in 2016, by local community members of Indian origin with a mission to spread happiness through 'sangha seva' (sanskrit word for 'selfless service to community'). Helping people from all walks of life regardless of race, religion, income levels, cultural and political beliefs is a key driver for Chetana volunteers who have been actively undertaking several social welfare programs to help local communities, specifically in the Portland and Pacific Northwest region.
