The B.S.K.B. Association, fondly known as Gokul, is a 90 years old organization situated at Sion, Mumbai, with more than 4000 members spread all over Mumbai and Navi Mumbai. We run a Home for Senior Citizens at Nerul called "Ashraya" with more than 40 Senior Citizen who enjoy the benefits of home and homely care outside their own home. This Ashraya has all the facilities make their stay comfortable and enjoyable - doctors visit daily, we organize entertainment and sat sang to keep them engaged, there exist Library, Computer room, WiFi facility, Prayer room, Recreation hall, Gym for their use. This Ashraya has all the facilities make their stay comfortable and enjoyable - doctors visit daily, we organize entertainment and sat sang to keep them engaged, there exist Library, Computer room, WiFi facility, Prayer room, Recreation hall, Gym for their use. We also have a Temple of Lord Shree Krishna at Sion and conduct daily pooja, all rituals, religious functions, which is very popular amongst our members and the people residing in and around Sion. For the benefit of members and the general public we have community halls both at Sion and Nerul for holding various functions big and small, with all facilities. Our activities include: Free medical check-up camps, Workshops & Camps for children, Seminars for youngsters, Various Competitions for all ages, encourage and organize folk dances like Yakshagana, Bharata Natyam, regular Bhajans at homes, Marriage bureau, Free library and cultural events. To encourage education, we award prizes, scholarship and also hold interschool competitions. We have adopted a municipal School at Dharavi and created a hostel, to accommodate studying student at nominal cost.
