Project Report

We are please to announce that, with your help, we have raised nearly $40,000 of our $55,000 goal for this project to provide clean drinking water to the people of Lobitos. Due to COVID-19, things are on hold right now but we have enough funds to purchase the machine and ship it to Lobitos. We are still working, in the meantime, to secure partners for solar panels and energy storage and are strategizing how to raise the last few thousand dollars. We are in contact with our partners in Lobitos, as well as the mayor of the municipality and things are going as planned. We cannot wait to execute this important project. Thank you for your support!

Clean Water For Lobitos Update

So far we have raised over $30,000 through in-person fundraiser and corporate partnerships and donation matching for this project. We would love any additional help we could get through GlobalGiving. We have raised enough to purchase the machine and to begin speaking with local contractors in Lobitos about what construction would look like. We have secured a location for the plant near the fishing pier in the community and are working in collaboration with the mayor, the municipality and a few local NGO's who will be helping with the administration of the program once the machine is installed. The municipality is assisting with water testing as well. Our local partner, Coast 2 Coast is currently speaking with the local women of the community to educate them about the initative and gage interest in which women in the community would like to be charged with overseeing operations on the machine to ensure fair and proper administration and distribution of water once the machine has been installed.

California Wildfire Relief Update

Thank you all so much for your donations to our California Wildfire Relief Fund. The funds raised through this project have benefitted many families that were affected by the Malibu Fires. Most of these funds have been allocated for materials to clear property and begin to rebuild fencing on family ranches so that the displaced animals can return home, as well as rentals for heavy equipment like backhoes and skidsteers necessary for a project of this magnitude. This project will also contribute to provide displaced individiuals with more stable long-term shelters like RV's & Trailers. This could not have been done without your support in this project.
