March 2021 update

Hello,

We are very happy because we have finally made good progress in the development and construction of part of the area that we are allocating to protect our protégés during the possible brief absence of direct supervision of the herd.

However, there is still some way to go to finish it because the economic situation in Venezuela causes the money collected to be constantly devalued.

We always care about their well-being, so they will continue to enjoy, as always, their freedom to run and share in a herd.

THANK YOU for being part of this story,

THANK YOU for taking care of our rescued,

THANK YOU because despite what happened last year, with your contribution we could make a difference.

Thanks so much again on behalf of our rescues in Venezuela!

With gratitude,

Red de Apoyo Canino Team

Report - February 2021

Dear donors,

Happy 2021!! It has been a while since we last issued a report so we wanted to wish you first and foremost that 2021 is an excepcional and outstanding year for you and your loved ones!

We are delighted to report that we have already been able to resume our spay & neutering campaigns in different areas of the country, respecting all the necessary protection measures.

We are also delighted to share with you last year's results - although the number are significantly down from previous years due to the pandemic, we are so proud of everything we were able to accomplish in spite of even more challenging circumstances than usual.

In total, we were able to spay & neuter 4,619 dogs and cats in Venezuela during 2020, out of which 1,047 were completely for free.

So THANK YOU for being part of this and making it possible.

Report - January 2021

Dear donors,

Happy New Year! We hope this 2021 is filled with joy, love and laughs for all of you and your loved ones as well.

We have continued to vaccinate dogs in Venezuela against rabbies but due to the lack of resources, we are offering these only in Maracaibo, Zulia State, where rabbies are endemic in our country.

At the moment, we have been able to offer these every two weeks to approximately 20 animals every week. It is hard for people in the area to move due to lack of resources and gas but we will continue to offer these as long as we can (basically, as long as we have the means to continue buying them).

Thank you for your continued support.

We are attaching some pictures from our first two vaccinations days of 2021.

With gratitude,
