Even though we were unable to fundraise the amount we wanted by September 2019 in order to conmemorate World Rabbies Day by fighting this disease, we will continue to work towards that goal this year as, unfortunately, the cases continue to increase in our country dramatically.
We are vaccinating few dogs with the money we have been able to gather, evaluating the many requests we receive on a case-by-case basis. We were able to provide shots for 6 dogs, all of which were located in Maracaibo, a city in the western part of our country were this disease is endemic.
We hope to continue with your support during this year.

Thanks to everyone we has continued to support our work through this projecy! Spay & neuter campaigns is at the core of our NGO's work since we understand this is a key long-term solution to fight abandonment in our country.
In 2019, we did 16 campaigns per month, in average, with an average number of 40 animals benefited on each one. And we subsidized approximately 75% of the cost of each surgery for around 3/4 of our patients.
We will be posting our final results for 2019 in the upcoming weeks .
