Thank you for your continued help!

Thank you for your continued help and support as we continue to help the citizens of Antigua and Barbuda that are in need. When most people hear the word homeless, or hunger, a very specific image comes to mind, and it’s not pretty. The visible homeless, and those on the street and who are mentally ill, are just the tip of the iceberg. When faced with homelessness we often look for ways to justify our inaction. Why should I help them? I work too hard to earn money. I won’t just give it away. Why can’t he/she just get a job?.

Some of these people we serve lost there home during hurricane season and can't seem to find their way back. There are no jobs for some, can you imagine, not having running water or a roof over your head?. these are only some of the issues they are encountering. Please find it in your heart to assist us with our goal, to continue to help and feed the homless in Antigua and Barbuda. We continue to collect perishable food as well. These items can be dropped off or shipped to a NY location to be prepared to be shipped to Antigua and Barbuda. Please feel free to contact us at;

Students in need of basic school supplies for 2019

Teachers are straight-up awesome. Unfortunately they are faced with challenges every day, the biggest being not having the basic supplies for their students.

Rather than let their students go without basics like pencils and notebook paper, and more, many teachers spend their own money on school supplies for their classrooms.

That would be considered a sweet gesture if teachers were trillionaires, but the reality is they struggle doing so.

Antigua and Barbuda Students Association USA, saw the need and has committed to helping our teachers.

Teachers aren’t just awesome. They are downright selfless.

3.Organize a back-to-school donation drive within your church, work place or your community. We collected over 12,000 items during a recent donation drive, including pencils, backpacks, markers and scissors.

Building Homes for the Homeless in Antigua

Homelessness brings a sense of loneliness that erodes the core of a person’s self-value. When you are homeless, a simple smile and a word of kindness can make a big difference in a day full of hardship. Be sure to try and assist the homeless you encounter in the street or subway. Say a simple hello! Talk to them and give some words of encouragement in a simple conversation. When you take your time to learn about your homeless neighbor, his or her story and family, you show them that you care!Above all, avoid stereotyping or stigmatizing the homeless. There are many paths that lead to homelessness, and each person has a different story. Please help us as we try to make a difference in their lives.

Finally, it is through the generous gifts of faithful, caring donors that make the life transformation achieved through these recovery programs possible. , whether large or small, can help bring about lifelong change in the life of a families, man, woman or child in need.
