Through our flagship Friendship Box program, which has served over 20,000 students so far, we partner with celebrity friends to encourage everyone to cultivate a greater understanding of Indigenous culture and reality. We have led several historic initiatives, such as organizing the first-ever NHL ceremonies to honor Indigenous peoples on ice during games in Canada (Toronto Maples Leafs) and the U.S. (Buffalo Sabres). We also tour major films relating to Indigenous history and culture to remote communities, to encourage meaningful dialogue between youth and their elders on vital topics such as intergenerational trauma and suicide. So far, we have toured the following films: Indian Horse (by executive producer Clint Eastwood), The Grizzlies and Red Snow. We have proudly served over 90 remote (fly-in) communities across Canada, and our programs are widely covered by national and local media each year.
