Mission

To advance education in mathematics for the public benefit, in particular but not exclusively by: a) supporting initiatives that promote mathematics and improve the standard of mathematics education in Africa through the provision of advice, funding, consultancy services and volunteers designed to support such initiatives; b) carrying out research into the effectiveness of new teaching and learning initiatives in mathematics, the useful results of which will be disseminated for public benefit.
