Rebuilding Alliance

Rebuilding Alliance is dedicated to rebuilding war-torn communities and bringing the world together to make them safe. Our vision is a just and enduring peace in Israel and Palestine with equal value, opportunity, and security for all.
Brighten the Future of Gaza's Children
Help send solar-powered lights to the children of Gaza so they can do their homework at night when the electricity goes out. We found a way to ship pallets of Luci Lights, personal solar lanterns, through the blockade to Non-Governmental Organizations in Gaza, working with them to distribute to children and families in need. This is a precedent-setting initiative that will empower Gaza's next generation, and tell their stories, help open the blockade, and bring hope and safety to all. project reportread updates from the field
U.S. Movement to Save Palestinian Villages
The most effective way to keep Palestinian villages standing may be to bring Palestinian children to Congress on International Peace Day. When we brought 3 children last year with their Pinwheels for Peace, a senior Senator met them, tweeted to keep their villages standing, then met with the Prime Minister of Israel to express concern. Help bring Pinwheels for Peace to more villages in the West Bank and Gaza and help bring Palestinian children to Congress again this year. project reportread updates from the field
Rebuilding to Remain in Palestine
Thirty families from Al Aqaba Village ask your help to build affordable homes on the land they own. 95% of this Palestinian West Bank Village is under demolition order by the Israeli Army. Families want to return home because otherwise their village will cease to exist. Families invested their savings to create their fair housing program. First 3 houses built, families moved-in. Now we apply for Political Risk Insurance. Please help them build more homes and make calls to keep them safe. project reportread updates from the field
A Collective Song: Music to Make Hearts Sing
Our journey began with a passionate intern and today, we are excited to announce that the much-anticipated music center in Al Aqaba is a dream coming true. 41 students gather after school to learn violin, viola and cello. Lina Karamali's hard work has created a Center, bringing together a community of people united through music, exploring the value of music in restoring spirit and heart. And after only a few months of playing, the young students are being invited to perform at universities. project reportread updates from the field
Abir's Garden Playgrounds for a Safe Place to Grow
Combatants for Peace (C4P) are building playgrounds and organizing children's theater programs in memory of a child, Abir, who touched so many hearts. The playgrounds, all connected with a Palestinian kindergarten or elementary school in the West Bank, are constructed by professionals with Israeli and Palestinian former combatants working together to help. New, the C4P teams are coaching children's theater programs at each school to help youth raise awareness of their village's story. project reportread updates from the field
Kindergarten Scholarships in Palestine
Al Aqaba's children are the heart of the kindergarten and the kindergarten is the heart of the village. It is a vibrant place serving 132 students a year from Al Aqaba Village and the surrounding area. However, early childhood education is not funded in Palestine and many families in the West Bank's Jordan Valley cannot afford to send their children to school. We ask your help to give scholarships to needy students so that they will share the important opportunity kindergarten affords. project reportread updates from the field
