Mission

We work to eradicate child poverty through essential streams such as education, healthcare, protective services, shelter, recreation and counselling. VITAL targets societies' most vulnerable, working with those forced into the red light district, victims of trafficking, child labourers and street children. We fight to protect the rights of those who suffer abuse and violence and to ensure that all of our projects are designed and implemented in line with the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child, the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals and the Government of India's Child Protection regulations, e.g. the Juvenile Justice Act.
