Thanks to donations from people like you, many Haitians have access to clean, safe water. BUT FOR HOW LONG? We want to go one step further and ensure this water supply is sustainable. At the moment, the communities rely on the delivery of chlorine from International Action. With your help, we will train elected community leaders to manage the water chlorination independently, providing a sense of ownership and pride that spreads far beyond the water they drink. project reportread updates from the field

International Action is providing Albendazole de-worming pills to children in Haiti. In 2014 we distributed 300,000 pills and recently delivered 800,000 more to our office in Haiti. In 2014, we expanded this project to include vitamin supplements and in 2015, we hope to expand further to include much-needed medicines. There are still many more in need. With your help, we will protect an additional 500,000 children from intestinal worms, enabling them to attend school and live healthy lives. project reportread updates from the field

International Action will provide desperately needed Creole language books to children in Haiti. 3,000 books have already been provided to children in Cite Soleil, the poorest slum in the country. Many of these kids have never had an opportunity to read even a single book. With your help, we can reach more. project reportread updates from the field

In October 2010, cholera, first appeared in Haiti and rapidly spread through a vulnerable population that had not been exposed to the pathogen in over a century. Thus far, there has been 420,000 infections, 6,000 deaths. In July 2011, one person was infected with cholera almost every minute, and at least 375 died. Poor & unequal access to potable water and sanitation is the primary culprit for the rapid spread of cholera. International Action's chlorinators can provide clean water and save lives project reportread updates from the field
