Sele Enat Mahiber

1. To alleviate the unbearable suffering and heartbreaking life loss of orphans and vulnerable children by providing them with their basic needs while keeping them in the community (within their extended family kin), and by processing for adoption at home and abroad for those who do not have close family kin. 2. To build the economic capacity of single mothers by providing financial support for income generating schemes (IGS) through pity loans and counseling on small trades so that they will be able to keep their children on having a decent life.
Love and Care for a Children's Home in Ethiopia

Sele Enat Mahiber (SEM) provides a home full of love and support for orphans and vulnerable children in Addis Ababa. Wherever possible, they facilitate the placement of children with host families in the community and support prospective families with adoption, both in Ethiopia and abroad. A registered non-profit, SEM relies on charitable donations to provide the kids who live with them--ranging from newborn to 18 years old--with the daily care, love, and education that all children deserve.
