Women of Sujawl costal area facing food & medical health facilities shortage near Sujawl district Sujawal. Small farmers residing near coastal belt near Raj Malik Zero & Point not cultivated rice crop as water shortage and now they facing food and medical shortage vulnerability. The farmers residing tail end of water canal not cultivated rice crop on their agricultural lands due to water shortage
AHD committed to provide awareness about food security & short term food and medical support for women in these irrigation water shortage hit areas. Our project will 25 villages and direct families 1200 with total estimated population about 5,600. We hope this report will help poor families facing food and medical shortage, as the Christmas thanksgiving season and we hope more donations & support for this project in this month.

Women Provided Health Awareness session near Jati
Some 220 women provide with health awareness information at thir door step further AHD Health team Jati decided to organize 20 more Health Awareness sessions during next 2 months.
Jati area is the one of remote, far and scattered area of district Sujawal, Taluka Jati, about 12 to 15 km away from Jati main city. Rural women facing problems during the child birth no any nearby basic health unit or hospital. The rural women living in area have to travel by foot and have to pay large amount to taxi, sometime in the night time their no taxi available. According the village women many children death happen due to unavailability of Doctor on time.
AHD too step to introduce Mother & Child health Center in village for the immediate help for women residing in this area.
Action needed to support Light and Solar Energy Solutions in Rural Pakistan
AHD team visited in no of new villages and come to the point that urgent action needed to support Light and Solar Energy Solutions in Rural Pakistan. About 60% rural families do not have electricity at their villages / homes. AHD want to help them with provision of solar light for the present time. In this regard AHD surreys some 200 families and in the month of September 2017. About 200 solar lights will be distributed in selected families facing energy shortage at their house hold level.
We hope we will be able to distribute 200 lights and will share update back to you in End of September 2017.
