More than 200 young girls and women earning income near Hyderabad

AHD women staff conducted a survey visit and interviewed some 23 young women and girls got training via AHD sewing and skill training centers and now busy at their houses, sewing cloths of the nearby families children and women. All the women and girls happy and share that they earning handsome to support their families. Some senior earning PKR 250 to PKR 500 per day. This shows that the women trained previous two years now able to generate income and help their near families by sewing in cheap rates.

AHD planned this quarter will start 05 new sewing centers and will target some 100 young women training within next 06 months, hope their quarter we will be able to reach out maximum families with sewing and cutting skills.

Pakistan is one of the country where floods continue since 2010 and till 2015 million of people affected and lost their houses, some 30% provided with shelter and low cost housing but still large scale families suffering without houses and residing in open sky in different areas of Sindh. During the visit of women staff in working areas, minority families women expressed their situation that they do not have shelter/beds and cloths for incoming winter season, During the visit in flood affected areas the snaps taken showing the worst situation of poor families. We at AHD want to support some families and we looking you all support and donations

Project Progress: AHD staff provided awareness and meetings in families residing without shelter, staff also conducted door to door visits in some 19 villages and come to know the updated need and situation of flood victims.

Hindu minority families residing in Union Council Kar Malik, Jati migrated from other areas of Sindh to earn labor by cutting rice crop but due to shortage of labor now they all are residing on roads without any shelter, women and children sleeping on open sky and some them sick due to cold nights as winter is coming up. Women and children needs medial aid and medicine.

AHD staff visited some families in in Jati area and come to know some 67 families facing poverty and problem of food and medical aid for their women and children.

We at AHD wants support to help these poor  with medical help by Mother & Child Health Clinic establishment
