Give Syrian children hope through education

Providing children with an education is a basic right and one that is proving challenging for Syrian refugee children. In Lebanon schools are overwhelmed and places are limited making it difficult for Syrian families to register their children. Providing children with pre-school education prepares them for school and for the Lebanese school system. The pre-school will cater for 110 children and provide work for Syrian teachers as well. It gives focus to the community and hope for the future. project reportread updates from the field
SMART art - Creating Amity through Art in Turkey

SMART art provides the opportunity for Syrian refugee youth and Turkish youth to work together in a creative way. Through using art as a means of expression, youth learn to work together and understand their different cultures. This pilot project has been so successful in the last year that beneficiaries from the project will go on to be facilitators in the coming year. This project builds pride, mutual understanding and creative skills through bright thematic murals in public spaces.
