GeneSpark.org

International KS Foundation (operating under the "doing business as" name of GeneSpark.org) is a non-profit foundation focused on the advancement of therapeutic drug treatments for Intellectual Disability (ID) disorders, with an initial focus on Kleefstra syndrome (KS) and related sub-groups of ID disorders that have may a common or synergistic approach to drug development. We also aim to enhance the quality of life for those living with such ID disorders and their associated health problems by providing important educational information, programs and services.
Kleefstra Syndrome Drug Development Research Fund

GeneSpark.org is raising money to fund scientific research projects aimed at advancing a drug treatment for Kleefstra syndrome (KS). KS is a rare genetic condition caused by a mutation of the EHMT1 gene. KS patients have intellectual disabilities, speech impairments and various other neurological and physical abnormalities. Scientists know enough today to test specific drug development approaches, however, funding is the biggest hurdle. Your donation will help put a drug treatment within reach. project reportread updates from the field
