Final Report for Flood Relief Fund

The Flood in South Asia especially in Pakistan swept away hundreds of houses and took 24 lives in the upper northern region of Kashmir and Chitral. Although , GlobalGiving Disaster Relief team brought it to the main page but it didnt get enough attention by the donors. The campaign was unable to reach the desired target. However , GG has given a small fund of USD 2000 to AWARD for the relief activities. Our team has decided to use this fund to provide the Disaster Risk Reduction Training for the vulnerable communities. AWARD will be starting the activites by the start of next year in the flood vulnerable areas.

9th Report on the provision of clean drinking wate

Thank you very much for all your donations. AWARD Pakistan has taken an initiative to raise funds for the installation of 3 RO water treatment plants to provide clean drinking water in the 3 villages of Punjab with the support of the local community. The donations to this project in the recent project has declined due to some reason. So far the project has been able to manage 345 USD. We are trying to engage our supporters to get more donations so that we can start installing RO Plants as soon as possible

AWARD Pakistan’s team is regularly visiting the 3 areas and trying to engage the communities in this regard. The staff has not promised the RO plant to the community yet as the amount collected is not sufficient enough. We are also looking for other suitable options to collect funds and to deal with the  water issue. Once the target will be near to achieve, the staff will inform the community about the intervention and the activities associated with it.

APPEAL: We have seen decline in the donations from the past two quarters therefore , We would like to request all our donors and supporters to donate us for this cause to provide children and women an access to safe drinking water.
