First, thank you for making this project possible. We now have 20 cameras ready to go!
One other change to note is that the workshop will take place from January 8 - 12, 2018, rather than in February. It's a good thing we brought our puffy coats from Canada as northern Vietnam can be chlly and damp at that time of year.
One of our Vietnamese students sold 3 prints at the MY STORY photo project's exhibitions in Thailand and Canada, so we will be preenting her with her share of the sale proceeds. Hurray!
We'll keep you posted on the progress of this workshop and you can check out the project website.
Thanks again for your suport.

You did it! Your donations through GlobalGiving have bought 10 cameras for our 2nd photo workshop with deaf Vietnamese students. With an additional 10 cameras from the 2017 workshop, we're ready to get these young photographers shooting.
The MY STORY photo project will return to Tuy Hoa, Vietnam, in February, 2018 and work with deaf students and their teachers, training them in the basics of photography as well as giving the students the tools to run photo workshops in their own communities when they leave the school at age 16.
Please feel free to share this project with friends and family; the more cameras we have, the more workshops we can run!
Thanks,
Susan and Nar Tileston
