We Appreciate Your Support

December 19, 2018

Dear Partner,

As always, we truly appreciate all your support and commitment to ensuring that Restoration Project Resource center is operational. You also help us keep up the good work of providing tools for survivors to reintegrate properly and fully into communal life. Thank you so much.

Our first set of skills development classes graduated 6 of the initial 7 women that went through our program in November, 2018. We are excited that with proper follow-up, our graduates will use these tools to better themselves and the world around them.

These classes – Microsoft and Financial Literacy – would be repeated again January – April, 2019 for a new set of women. Our ultimate goal is to get our women to take the Microsoft certification exams and be able to improve their economic status. We are looking forward to equipping at least 20 women before the last quarter of 2019 for economic and social empowerment. We hope to start our ASPIRE Mentoring program, which will run concurrently with these two classes.

We will continue to provide avenues for victims and survivors of human trafficking and domestic violence to heal, and become productive members of society. Here’s what two of the participants of our program said:

“I want to thank who make this program possible. I hope this program continue”. “…I learned how to improve my credit score and what to do if I want to register my business”. The next step for these graduates is to introduce them to workforce development programs and job search. We want to be able to build a sellable resume for them so they can be adequately prepared for the competitive job market. We believe these tools will help them become economically independent.

We want to be able to sustain our programs so that we can see survivors to fully recovery. We cannot accomplish this without your support. Please continue to support our work we present a full spectrum of an array of services with ultimate goal of skills acquisition for sustainable restoration. We are defined by our belief in restoration of dignity and voices of survivors.

With your help, we have raised $1,300, a progress from our last report, THANK YOU! Please continue to support our project so we can sustain our programs. Remember, your donation help us provide an array of services on one platform; it also helps us help us to raise awareness. Insufficient funds may negatively impact survivors, which is what we hate to see. If we stop providing any service for lack of funding, we increase survivors’ to fear and mistrust for society and systems.

Please help us achieve the goal of bring our women to an unimpaired state and provide tools for leadership roles in the fight against human trafficking.

Thank You for Your Support

September 20, 2018

Dear Partner,

Thank you for supporting the good work of Restoration Project Resource center. You help us provide survivors of trafficking tools for restoration to normal life. As you continue to support us, we are reaching more women and are moving closer to our target. We have reached 7 ladies through our programs. Although this is far from our goal, but anticipate that as we continue to provide services to survivors, we would someday reach our goal.

We have shared many times the negative impacts of trafficking: trauma of its victims/survivors, and their bleak future, with little or no hope for tomorrow. The lies of the trafficker to the victims/survivors that they have no other choice continue to incapacitate them and limit their desire/zeal for redemption. It is therefore essential that organizations like ours must continue to change this perception and lies, and in the same vein change misconception of society about trafficked adult girls. Our Educational and Empowerment Programs target these needs.

We would continue to strive to better serve these young women as we present a full spectrum of an array of services with ultimate goal of skills acquisition for sustainable restoration. We are defined by our belief in restoration of dignity and voices of survivors.

When we began our Microsoft and Financial Management Classes, we aimed at empowering women. We are glad to share that most of the women in these classes are exhuming old skills needed to overcome challenges of their traumatic experience. They are gaining more confidence in exhibiting skills for taking leadership roles in the fight against trafficking. Besides, these classes are meant to guarantee a stable income for survivors, and empower them to shun traffickers. At the end, this Project will set survivors up for success.

With your help, we have raised $900. This $350 more than the last time we reported our progress. We are making progress; THANK YOU!

Please help us to raise $43,000 so we can continue to provide these classes and other services uninterrupted. Lack of funds can send survivors back to their former state; we don’t want that to happen. All the money raised for this Project will provide a full array of services in one location. We don’t want survivors to harbor fear and mistrust for society and systems’ ability to bring them to an unimpaired state.

Our goal is to bring these women to an unimpaired state so they can assume leadership roles in the fight against human trafficking; thus protect at-risk girls. Your financial support counts.

Your Support Counts

June 26, 2018

Dear Partner,

Thank you for supporting Restoration Project Resource Center. You help us provide victims/survivors of trafficking tools for restoration to normal life. Your continued support bring survivors to an unimpaired state. Since the center opened in March, 2018, we have served two survivors who are currently on their way to achieving a more stable life. We anticipate serving up to 50 ladies before the end of the year through our classes and training.

Trafficking leaves its victims traumatized, with no hope for tomorrow. Victims are fed with lies that they are incapable of becoming productive to themselves and society. This is why survivors prefer to remain in their “known” rather than explore the unknown: this is their perception of rescue, freedom and redemption. Changing this perception is often challenging, but attainable with the your help. What does this change mean for survivors? EMPOWERMENT!

Our organization is continually striving to better serve these young women as we represent a full spectrum of an array of services with ultimate goal of skills acquisition for sustainable restoration. We are defined by our belief in restoration of dignity and voices of survivors.

In July, 2018 we begin Microsoft and Financial Management Classes to give survivors economic power. We believe this will guarantee a stable income, empower them to shun their traffickers and become productive members of society. This Project will set survivors up for success.

With your help, we have raised $550. THANK YOU! We still need $43,350 to continue to provide services uninterrupted.
