Wild Chimpanzee Foundation

Ensure the protection of long-term viable populations of wild chimpanzees and their natural environment in tropical Africa.
Save 2000 chimpanzees in West Africa

Chimpanzees are human's closest relatives- a flagship species for the rainforest. Protecting chimpanzees and their habitat will indirectly benefit many other species existing in the forest. WCF aims to reduce bushmeat consumption, potentially fatal to humans. In order to stop the sale of chimpanzee bushmeat, a constant presence of ecoguards is needed. Chimpanzees are illegally poached, driving them to extinction. So let's tackle this problem at the root and support the guardians of the forest project reportread updates from the field
S.O.S. for Club P.A.N. in Cote d'Ivoire

Normally, Club P.A.N. would start its 9th school year this October 2015. Unfortunately, we were unable to secure funding this year despite the amazing results we have achieved with the program and thousands of children we have reached so far. This means that 15 schools with more than 1000 children will not learn about environmental issues, endangered species and biodiversity this year and perhaps not ever again in the foreseeable future around the Tai National Park in Cote d'Ivoire. project reportread updates from the field
