YOUR SPECIAL EASTER GIFT WILL MAKE A DIFFERENCE IN A WIDOW’S LIFE

Your Special Easter Gift will help build a home for a widow family, reduce the expansion of AIDS and mortality occasioned by the present conditions of their living. Your donation will make a huge difference in a widow’s life and orphaned children.

Your Easter donation would help and enable JRMD provide shelters to 100 widow families and orphans. So far, we have built 9 houses for 9 widow families of the 100 homes we plan to build in Buganda. 91 widow families and orphans, still need shelters, where they can live in security and peacefully. As you know, Peace education is not possible for people who do not have where to live. There is NO way to promote peace, reconciliation, education, development, safety, health in and among the families who do not have shelter/home. A home is one of the most important things which contribute to the good living of a human being.

Helping a widow family to improve the condition of living by providing an affordable home, which costs $998; a home that accommodates a family of 7 to 10 people is unforgettable gift that you can give to a widow family in Burundi, during this Easter season. Providing a home to a widow and needy family will help reduce the expansion of AIDS and the mortality of unprivileged children occasioned by the present conditions of their living. A home is one of the most important things that contribute to a good living of a human being.

Until our project is fully funded, we will be sending you regular reports about our work. You'll know what your donation has helped fund, what accomplishments we have achieved and what our current needs are.

Thank you for your Easter donation to a widow’s family that will enable JRMD Team to provide a shelter to a widow family and orphaned children.

SPECIAL MESSAGE TO OUR SPECIAL DONORS AND FRIENDS

It is with great pride that we announce that we have at least 20 students sitting for the 9th grade National Exam in June 2019 and 46 students sitting for the "Terminal", the National Exam in July 2019 that enables students to exit from high school and move out into the world of college and/or work.

In October 2017 twelve students (boys and girls) and in September 2018 twenty four students (boys and girls) graduated from Iwacu Kazoza School. This was possible because of your donation. The school administration, students and parents are very grateful to each one of our donors and friends.

Wherever and whoever you are you can help us make this to happen to help provide education to the underprivileged children to enable them to become self-sufficient in the future, help their community and country and become more effective in this way to themselves, their community and country as well.

Please consider donating to JRMD and help us in this important work.  We will need at least $9,150 to feed our 66 students for a period of two months, prepare them for the national tests and pay our hard-working teachers.  Please donate by clicking on the following link: https://www.globalgiving.org/projects/providing-education-to-450-youths-in-ruhagarika/

Due to our school’s emergency financial situation I am making a plea to all of you to make a special donation so that we will be able to pay our teachers and finish well the school year 2018-2019.

Thank you so much for helping us make this to happen in the lives of 66 students and teachers.

GIVING BACK TO THE COMMUNITY BEYOND

GIVING BACK TO THE COMMUNITY BEYOND We won’t cease advocating for those in need until they are resettled and have a shelter where they can live with their families IN HOPE AND SECURITY.

As informed you in my previous reports, some of the survivors of Carama flooding are still living in the remains and others are still living in displacement camps; today they feel like abandoned survivors, waiting for a help from people who care to make them smile again and be resettled in their own homes. Remember, during the Bujumbura flooding, one couple lost their 6 children, killed by torrential rains and over 100 people died. The current living situation of those families is becoming more horrible, due to the lack of food to eat and shelter. As they continue to live in the remains of the houses destroyed by floods, they are afraid that any time, they can fall on them and be killed.

To build one home it costs $998, a home that can accommodate a family of 7 to 10 people. . A home is one of the most important things which contribute to the good living and security of a human being. Until this time I am writing this report, only $1,239 have been donated for this project and one house has been built.

As we continue to share the needs of Carama Survivors, I continue to hope and believe that donors will consider making donations to this project, so that we can help the survivors of Carama rebuild their homes, in their own land and save their lives. Until this project is fully funded, we will be sending you regular reports about our work. You'll know what your donation has helped fund, what accomplishments we have achieved and what our current needs are.

Thank you so much for your consideration to help JRMD make a difference in Carama survivor community in Burundi, Africa.
