Mission

Our mission is to: measurably improve our pupils' English literacy; challenge preconceptions of Latin as an 'elitist' subject; broaden our pupils' cultural and historical horizons; and increase confidence and resilience in the classroom We are proud of our innovative scheme of work and dynamic style which: teaches Latin through English and English through Latin, resulting in a holistic understanding of English grammar; incorporates the performing arts such as rap, song, creative writing, crafts, dance, drama as learning tools; allows our teachers to employ their own creative strengths in the classroom; and includes vital work on identity and representation from the classical... read more
