In acknowldgement of the suffering and pain that the orphaned children around the world are experiencing, we are determined to share their pain and misfortune by taking them into our hands and by sharing with them what we have, both material and spiritual. We believe everyone has something to share. Even the orphans have great things they can share with us; their stories of survival, their talents, their time, and the opportunity to let us come into their lives. We believe everyone has something to share. Even the orphans have great things they can share with us; their stories of survival, their talents, their time, and the opportunity to let us come into their lives. We encourage, more than anything else, the participation of local citizens and communities, churches, and both profit and non-profit organizations, through partnering, volunteering, and otherwise providing for those needs. Though we are small in numbers, we serve a big God, who has already worked miracles through our efforts. This volunteer labor of love has begun in East Africa in the countries of Kenya and Uganda. With God's continuing leadership and blessings, it is our aim for the work to spread into many other areas of Africa and to other parts of the world. Therefore, our mission is to empower as many orphaned children as possible, through any means possible, to become strong, educated, spiritually sound individuals who will thrive in their own culture; empowered, energized, motivated, anointed and destined to change the future of their families, society, nation and the world. We believe we can best accomplish this mission through the following specific means: 1). Using exclusively local volunteers, leaders, committees, administration, laborers and methods, except on the governence level. 2). Maintaining, supporting, encouraging, and empowering the local culture in and through our projects. 3).Avoiding imposing any external cultural influences that are against Christianity, and encouraging the positive norms of the local people working in our facilities and our orphans. As such, our mission statement is: "Our mission is to give a loving, Christian environment to orphans and at risk children in Kenya and Uganda to give them the foundation they need to become strong, educated, responsible adults."
