Earlier this year 2018, we opened a pilot preschool in a neighbourhood school in Bangalore. We were given a completely dilapidated set of rooms to set up our school. The rooms had never been used for years together and were dark, leaking at some places, broken floor and so on.
Our goal from the begining was to provide a 'State of Art' infrastructure at this pilot preschool. Please take a moment to review a report in a local daily in the files appended below.
Admissions began in early June 2018 and we were happy to accomodate 24 children families facing extreme finaincial hardshsip. Typically they are children of daily wage labourers, maids, drivers and so on. A very heterogenous group from various cultural backgrorunds.
The school is now (September 2018) running successfully.
