We are proud to announce that we have adopted six new children. We welcome Jharana, Yash, Sagar, Debaki,Basudev and Daniel to SANTI. This makes us the caretaker of 30 children. On 21st June, we organized 'World Yoga Day' in SANTI in which all the students participated. Special classes are provided to the children to crack the Navodaya and Eklavya exams. We will continue to make more announcements and look forward for your support. We want to adopt 100 children and the budget is the only constraint that is preventing us from reaching this noble goal quickly. Please contribute to this cause.
We are excited to adopt three new children! Jharana is a 7 years old girl in addition to Eyas and Sagar 11 and 8 years old boys are new family member to SANTI. Each of them have their own unique circumstances and challenges and came to SANTI for help. We are committed to provide them a home with great heart. We will publish more about their experiences in our next reports.
Our brightest kid Poonam secured 1st position in Ranibandh Primary School annual exam. She is enrolled in a public school where children apart from SANTI are also studying. Competing with other children and topping the grade 5 is a tremendous accomplishment. She dreams to be an accomplished professional in future and we will support her.
A national cement production company, OCL sponsored the Annual cultural function of Ranibandh Primary School. Seven children from SANTI performed a group dance in that function. It was beautiful and awarded 1st prize in the competition. We feel great for the performance by Dipti, Poonam, Shila, Susanti, Sanju, Pami and Albina.
OCL mahila mandal, an association of ladies celebrated birthdays of SANTI children named Sukra, Jhubli, Sanju and Shila. We are thankful to local ladies for encouraging and embracing our kids.
Holi is a festival of color and SANTI always celebrates with great enthusiasm. This year also we celebrated Holi with plenty color and great food.
We are thankful for your continued support for all of our children and activities. Without your support we won’t be able provide such life changing moments for underprivileged children.

Health care training to 27 poor tribal girls
By Ashok Dandpat - Project Leader
Few years back, we started our program to train sewing and alteration. Recently we have started health care training. It is a big step and needs tons of volunteer hours and preparation. We are one of those few nonprofit organizations who has the ability to run multipurpose health care training program in rural areas. We have been running a health care training program to train 27 poor tribal girls. These programs are supported by Puri School of Nursing and ITDA of Sundargarh. We are committed to provide them employment after the training. Providing employment is a long lasting battle but we are hopeful to succeed on this effort.
We conducted a conference “Neighborhood Youth Parliament” that involved 45 youth girls from rural areas. This conference was aimed to inform opportunities available for youth in our community. This was highly appreciated by attendees as was eye opening for them.
A national cement production company, OCL supported the celebration of International Women’s Day at SANTI. This was packed with inspirational speeches from local successful women from the OCL Organization. They also discussed women empowerment and improvements for poor women.
We are thankful for your continued support for all of our activities. Without your support we won’t be able provide such great training programs to local youth.
