Nochlezhka provides shelter, health care, outreach and social services for homeless individuals. We encourage promotion of public policies then prevent homelessness and and assisnt social rehabilitation of homeless indivilduals.
In order to be able to stand up on your feet, you must first survive.
Every weekday, year-round, a specially equipped van makes several stops in neighborhoods on the outskirts of Saint -Petersburg to deliver warm meals to the homeless, poor and unemployed. Everybody who comes to the Night Bus receives some help.

The city officials confirm 82 deaths from cold exposure during winter season 2009-2010 and 66 people during winter season 2010-2011, and there may be more deaths which were not registered officially. Hundreds people are disabled as a result of amputation.
During the cold season Nochlezhka installs several heated tents, each of them can provide shelter for 60 people. From November till April homeless individuals can spend a night there, get warm dinner and breakfast, medical attention and can consult a social worker.
