August is the month of independence for Indonesia. Commemorate to Indonesia Independence Day, we received support from BIWA and Hatten Wines for cervical cancer screening and conduct peer meeting. We also conduct three mobile clinics this month and routine activities at Base Clinic.
Mobile clinic this month conduct at Menyali village, Kreneng Market and Anyarsari Market. Menyali village locate in remote area at Buleleng regency. We conduct mobile clinic at this village associate with community services program student from Udayana University. Mobile clinic services at both market conduct in association with Koppas Kumbasari. This is a commitment from us to help the trader to reach sexual and reproductive services more intense.
Peer meeting this month discuss about breast cancer commemorate to World Breast Feeding and also to maintain peer knowledge and awareness. As usual, after the material briefeing, peer and our staff spread breast cancer awareness to all traders in New Pasar Badung.
Commemorate to Indonesia Independence Day, we received special support from BIWA associate with Hatten Wines to help our cervical cancer screening program. They help us to almost all the women trader in New Pasar Badung to received pap test as cervical cancer screening. We feel really helpful to BIWA that help us to reach our goal to create a healthy generation start from the women.
Activities on June fill with mobile clinic services in Karangasem, USG training refreshment and peers meeting.
Mobile clinic services conduct at Karangasem in Bhuana Giri village and Sibetan village. Mobile clinic at Karangasem was a remote area locates near the Agung Mountain. Their villages and health facilities distance is quiet far so that they rarely checks health status especially reproductive health. Mobile clinic in Karangasem conducted in association with our mobile clinic peer. We successfully served 308 people in both village with more than 150 people received cervical and breast cancer screening and also reach more than 100 people to received reproductive health education.
We received a visit from Australia Consulate General coincide with peer meeting. Australia Consulate General through DAP as one of our donor visit to evaluate our program. Peer meeting this month discuss about family planning and drugs. We repeat and refresh the family planning topic to made better understanding of the peer and the people educated by peer. We add drugs abuse education because Balinese women should watch their children so not to fail into drugs. Drugs are government priority because it destroys nation’s generation.
After successfully receive funding to buy new ultrasound from DAP, we conduct refreshment USG training provided by the merchant. The new ultrasound will specifically use in mobile clinic services. This training attended by all medical staff with complete and comprehensive ultrasound topic. All medical staff will be able to exam with ultrasound to improve service quality and increase the number of people reached.

Mobile clinic at Bangli in Sekardadi village
Our activities on May fulfill with mobile clinic services to Bangli an Buleleng region, Peer meeting commemorate to Kartini Day and World Tobacco Day. We also continuing our services at Pasar Badung, Sanur and ALC.
Mobile clinic this month conduct at Bangli in Sekardadi village and Buleleng at Banyupoh village. Mobile clinic in Bangli conducted in association with Bangli Health Department and Bali Obstetrics and Gynecology Association. At this mobile clinic, we only serve cervical and breast cancer services and reach more than 150 people screen by VIA. We hope continuing this corporation in Bangli region that can make more comprehensive services to people living in remote area. Mobile clinic at Buleleng was our follow up visit after the enthusiast visit on 2018. The enthusiasm of the community still high and we also conduct the services together with Buleleng Red Cross. From these activities 241 people received health services, 167 people received lab test for STIs, 199 people accessed breast cancer screening and 205 people accessed visual inspection via acetic acid (VIA) test for cervical cancer screening.
Commemorate to Kartini Day, we held peer meeting discussion about breast and cervical cancer. We conduct the commemoration lately because on April was the month with political election issues. We afraid that our activities link with election campaign. On May, we also conduct peer meeting in commemorate to World tobacco day. We spread the information about the dangerous of smoking in Pasar Badung. YRS as a health centre in traditional market has a responsibility to make market environment clear from smoking. After discussion, our staff and peer spread the information especially to visitor to more promote our services and to stop smoking market area.
