YRS TEAM BACK TO WORK AFTER CONDUCTED PCR SWAB TES
The spread of COVID-19 in Bali is increasing, mainly through local transmission in Traditional Market. Two YRS clients who are traders in the Badung Market were infected with COVID-19 on this month. Responding to this situation, to prevent and reduce the wider transmission, YRS Team conducted a PCR Swab Test to ensure that YRS team was not infected.
While waiting for the results of the PCR Swab Test for 1 week, we do not open clinical medical services and we were isolate ourselves before ensuring that we safe and healthy to work again. Fortunately, all YRS Team PCR Swab Test results are negative. So that we can get back to work safely and increase our awareness.
As a concrete effort to prevent the spread of COVID-19 transmission in Traditional Markets, YRS received support from KOPERNIK consist of 500 Hand Sanitizers and 30 masks which were distributed to traders in the Badung Market. Beside that, YRS team in collaboration with PD Pasar Badung also put up posters about How to Wash Hands with Hand Sanitizer at several strategic points in the Badung Market. We hope that support of masks and Hand Sanitizers can be used effectively while they work at the Badung Market.
To enter a new normal life with the COVID-19 pandemic situation, the need of materials to support a clean and healthy life by washing hands like hand sanitizers is increasing. For efficiency, YRS held a Training of trainers to make Hand Sanitizers according to WHO standards, which was facilitated by the team of Pharmacology Lecturers from Medicine Faculty Warmadewa University. The results of training will shared through YRS social media, than, the viewer and community will have the knowledge to make the standardized Hand Sanitizers for their needs or potentially as a business unit.
