Awareness to 100 children on sexual abuse
The project aims to create awareness on child sexual abuse among the children who study in our special schools. The increasing number of incidences of child sexual abuse, warrants special emphasis on sexual abuse. The children will be taught what is sexual abuse and simple techniques to prevent themselves from sexual abuse.

Many children living in Trichy slums drop out of school before completing their education. This project supports at risk students in grades 4-12 by giving them coaching classes. The classes give students the individual attention they lack at school & the guidance they lack at home. Specially trained teachers help students improve in subjects that are difficult for them, which are identified by tests. Educate 40 narikurava (gypsy) children in India
The project will conduct coaching class for 3 years for 40 Nomadic Narikurava Gypsy children in Devarayaneri habitat, Trichirappalli who consider education unimportant. The elders who have not crossed 8th standard or illiterates could not/do not support the children in their studies. Hence children also drop out after 5th standard and get married before 18. The project aims to train 25 women prisoners in Trichy Special Prison for Women in tailoring. This will provide these women with an alternate livelihood opportunity. Once they get out of the prison after their imprisonment period is over, they will indulge in a dignified activity that will fetch them income to feed their mouth and their dependents.
