Taking IT Global

To empower young people to understand and act on the world's greatest challenges.
Helping the Family
Kazi Mamun, a young man in Bangladesh, aims to empower the key person of a family so that he/she may earn more and can ensure the financial safety of the whole family. The main goal of this project is to provide skills-based training to 10 primary earners of financially-needy families so that these individuals can have greater mobility and financial opportunity within their field to better fulfill the basic needs of their families.

Self Help Foundation
The two decade long war not only changed the way of life of the people of Northern Uganda, it also changed their mindset in more than one way; it created a culture of dependency and surfaced barriers for young people to pursue education in schools. The Self Help Foundation works to change peoples' mindsets about using their own resources to solve community challenges. project reportread updates from the field

Educating Youth through Artistic Expression
Spearheaded by social entrepreneur, Carlos Rojas Reyes, ImaginARTE aims to develop the critical thinking skills in youth aged 11-16 years old through arts-based workshops at local schools in Lima, Peru. Our vision is that through these cross-cultural workshops delivered by international volunteer facilitators (20-26 years old) from over 100 countries, participants can start thinking in a critical way to generate positive social change in their own communities.
Supporting Young Writers
Millennial Youth Content Services is an initiative started by Andrew Cullen and offers a wire service through which the highest quality editorial content produced by youth for young and adult audiences will be made available for sale to US newspapers. The long-term impact of Millennial Youth Content Services will be a cadre of young readers who are civically engaged partners in a larger community who understand their roles, rights and responsibilities as citizens in a democracy.
GOOD Citizens
Social and political transformations require active citizens that can take part in sociopolitical realities. In Colombia, we have suffered for more than 50 years an internal conflict that has generated violent and degrading ways to live and relate with others. GOOD CITIZENS is a project that works for the transformation of political culture in youth by generating sociopolitical awareness and criteria. This is what we aim to change!
