Thank you for supporting me to go to preschool

George's card
George's card

“I am George, four-years old. I like panting or cutting out at preschool. I found a lot of fun at preschool every day. I want to show you my card made at preschool.”

Children at Jonah House most came from careless families. They did not obtain sufficient stimulus and interaction until coming here. We hope preschool supply these children much more chances to develop their interaction and social abilities.

Preschool-age children at Jonah House are waiting for adoption. When they stay here, waiting for a new family, we supply them both physical and psychological care, medical treatment, education and early intervention.

We have five children now going to different preschools to touch different peers.

Ready to preschool
Ready to preschool

Every morning on weekday, we had a car sending children of Jonah House to preschools. Children like to go to preschool very much because they can play and learn many things with a different group of friends. Children here almost came from careless or unfunctional families so they did not obtain sufficient stimulus and interaction until coming here. We hope preschool education supply these children much more chances to develop their interaction and social abilities. So we send them to different preschools to touch different peers. Everyday children told caregivers what happened at school just like people would do in family.

The final report--We did it for the children

Cathwel Service helped children with developmental delay at the orphanage Jonah House in Taiwan to undergo early intervention via this project during year 2013. In the past year, there were 21 children of Jonah House undergoing early intervention for 160 hours in total.

Now, this project is closing, and all the funds from this project have been used for the intervention mentioned above. We are very grateful to donors for helping us to do this. Excess funds are going to be used for medical expenses of children at Jonah House afterward.

Children at Jonah House still have many other requirements. Please support our another project #16131.
