I am excited to share our latest quarterly progress report with you.
This report highlights Hope Through Health’s new Maternal and Child Health Program and describes a “Day in the Life” of a Community Health Worker. Through this program, Hope Through Health has already provided care to over 5,000 women and children. Other highlights include:
Reaching 95% of children under 5 and 71% of pregnant women in the communities we serve
Treating 53.5% of cases of illness in children under 5 within 72 hours of symptom onset
An increase in the number of prenatal consultations and facility-based deliveries
We would not have been able to achieve these results without the support of people like you. Thanks to your generosity, our project "Help 100 Babies Be Born HIV-Free in Togo" has been fully funded! For this reason, we are deactivating the project. If you wish to continue supporting Hope Through Health, please check out our newest project, "End Preventable Deaths of Women and Kids in Togo".
Thank you again for your continued support as we work to improve healthcare for all!
Sincerely, Maggie O’Grady Development and Program Associate Hope Through Health
I am excited to share our 2014-2015 Annual Impact Report with you. Thank you for your support as we continue to expand and improve upon our services to provide quality care to even more people in Togo.
I hope that you take a moment to read this one-page report and see the impact you have helped to achieve:
This report highlights Hope Through Health's new Maternal and Child Health Program. Through this program, Hope Through Health has already trained 25 new Community Health Workers on maternal and child health and provided services to over 3,500 women and children in northern Togo.
In the first three months of the program, we have already seen a ten-fold increase in the number of children treated either at the clinic or by a community health worker, and nearly half of all cases of illness in children under five were treated within 72 hours of symptom onset. The first quarter of 2016 also saw a significant increase in utilization of family planning and prenatal consultations.
Thank you for your continued support as we work to ensure access to high quality and affordable healthcare for all!
Sincerely, Maggie O'Grady Development and Program Associate Hope Through Health
