(July 19, 2005) — GlobalGiving is proud to announce expanded partnerships with two of our strategic funders, Omidyar Network and the Hewlett Foundation. Recent grants from both organizations, in support of general operating activities, are integral to GlobalGiving's continued efforts to build and enhance a highly efficient philanthropy marketplace. Through GlobalGiving, individuals, corporations, and other institutions can find and directly fund social, environmental, and economic development projects around the world.
Through these partnerships, we are looking forward to collaborating with Omidyar Network and the Hewlett Foundation to develop new and innovative approaches to international philanthropy, enabling more people to discover their power to make good things happen.
In addition to Omidyar and Hewlett, GlobalGiving's major funding partners include the Skoll Foundation, the Sall Family Foundation, and USAID. Additional funding has been provided by the WK Kellogg Foundation, the Charles Stewart Mott Foundation, and HP.
