FRAMINGHAM, MA (January 19, 2004) — Hewlett-Packard Co. employees in Marlborough helped train women teachers in Afghanistan, finance female entrepreneurs in Zimbabwe and provide health-care support to children in Cambodia.
The workers used GlobalGiving, HP's international option for employee giving, raising nearly $2,200 to support the projects.
HP employees in the company's Littleton office also raised $1,200 for the GlobalGiving effort.
GlobalGiving, founded by former executives at the World Bank, is a philanthropic exchange based in Bethesda, MD.
