Take advantage of this opportunity to learn some of the fundamentals of online fundraising, share best practices with other organizations in your area, and learn about GlobalGiving’s website and fundraising tools.

What can you do to motivate your donor networks to help you spread the word?

Do your donors read your newsletters?
Getting the people on your mailing list to open and react to a newsletter or mass email is not an easy task. These days, people are receiving more e-communication than they know what to do with. You need to work especially hard to make your email stand out!

Kabissa is a volunteer-led non-governmental organization founded in 1999 and organized in the United States as a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization. The Kabissa mission is to help African civil society organizations to put Information and Communication Technology (ICT) to work for the benefit of their communities.
Kabissa's current priority is to support the networking, information sharing and ICT peer learning needs of African civil society organizations, which we do by maintaining an online platform at http://www.kabissa.org with a searchable organization directory, community blog and monthly member newsletter.
