GlobalGiving Developed its storytelling method over years by iterating on the design.
We assumed that hosting a community meeting would be the central point of feedback, and from these local meetings all of our positive outcomes would blossom. This did not happen.
Instead we focused on moving more of the feedback loop inside each organization's own learning process, and providing free online tools for them to learn more, faster. In tandem we reward partner organizations that use these tools and appear to learn as they listen with more online access to corporate donations and better matching rates on our quarterly bonus days.

Based on frequent user testing we have slowly improved the ability for anyone to find any kind of story and build a collection out of the tens of thousands that we have already collected.
