Tree Planting Excercise In Kakamega

Global warmingwas fast taking root in Africa.Things were falling apart.Industries were leading in facilitating global warming. Those who settled in water catchment areas were cutting down trees ,and planting those that sucked all the water due to their long roots.we had no idea that the activities.we were carrying out were highly contributing to destruction of our environment. Different species of animals were getting extinct.I showed this problem to one of the key member of an organization known as western water &sanitation from who promised to mobilise school children to engage in development of tree nurseries. The schools round the municipality and kakamega central have embarked on this exercise and have so far planted over 10,000 seedlings of trees from 2010
