Fight Against Malaria

Malaria has been a challenge to the people in western province of Kenya. In the year 2011, the government of Kenya through the ministry of public health decleared a campaign against malaria and in our village in Kakamega town, Maraba estate, the community social workers and the village administration registered people to receive nets so that we can keep off mosquitoes which in the main cause of malaria. In the month of march 2011, we registered sas a family and we were promised to get 3 nets to help us in the fight against the disease. the promise was good and encouraging and it was to be done the same month. With great expectation we waited and waited, until march ended, April was long in waiting until now it is May, the village administration has not responded. But we know the fight for malaria is on.
